There is a preconceived idea that the objects created in an industrial design studio fall into particular categories: a telephone, a lamp, furnishings. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

To illustrate this with an example, the same team of designers can design a 10-metre boat or the key that starts its engine. What we create on a small scale can also be projected to a large size. Naturally, this will involve further development, but the harmony of colour, the proportions, the materials, the functionality and the aesthetics are our usual concerns.

Zafir 38

The demands of today’s market have made it mandatory to offer boats with increasingly exclusive interiors that set them apart from the rest. Today, stylistic guidelines have as much weight as sailing performance.

With a more stylised line than earlier models in the Zafir range, our collaboration with Altair has produced a yacht with new aesthetic lines, but few ornamental touches that could go out of style after a few seasons.

With large trapezoidal windows on each side of the hull, the aesthetics of the Zafir 38 have a sporty character, taking into account the target audience. Special attention has been devoted to the use of space, which has been carefully studied to strike the right balance between interior and exterior space.
